1. Acceptance

By downloading, registering, subscribing to, setting up, or allowing a child to use VernaTalk, the adult account holder agrees to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, child privacy and parent consent notices, subscription terms, and AI content disclaimers.

2. Intended audience and adult supervision

VernaTalk is intended for children ages 3-8, but not for unsupervised child registration, payment, or independent use. Adults are responsible for setup, microphone permission, privacy settings, subscription management, data deletion, and judging whether AI content is suitable for the child.

3. AI content

AI answers may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or unsuitable for a specific child. VernaTalk is for companionship, language practice, and general curiosity. It is not medical, legal, financial, safety, psychological, educational-diagnostic, or emergency advice.

4. Subscriptions and quota

VernaTalk is free to download and may include limited free Q&A turns. Optional subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through the App Store or Google Play before the end of the current billing period. Plus is US$9.99 per month with 3,000 Q&A turns. Pro is US$49.99 per month with 20,000 Q&A turns. Unused quota normally does not roll over, transfer, convert to cash, or create a refund right unless required by law or store policy.

5. Prohibited use

Users must not let children use the app alone for extended periods; enter a child's real name, address, school, phone number, identity document, payment information, precise location, or sensitive health details; request sexual, violent, hateful, bullying, self-harm, illegal, dangerous, or age-inappropriate content; bypass safety rules; impersonate others; infringe rights; reverse engineer, scrape, attack, overload, or bypass quotas or subscriptions; or violate law or platform rules.

6. Account and deletion

Adults are responsible for keeping accounts and devices secure. Account deletion is available in Parent Settings, Account, Delete Account. Deleting the VernaTalk account may not cancel a subscription managed by Apple or Google; users should cancel subscriptions through the store account used to purchase.
