1. Who we are

VernaTalk is provided by LexDawn Global. VernaTalk is a voice-first AI companion for children ages 3-8, designed for use with a parent, legal guardian, or other authorized adult nearby.

2. Adult account and child profile

Adults create and manage the account. We may collect the adult's email address, login credentials, consent records, subscription status, support communications, child nickname, AI friend name, app language, region, speech settings, theme, quota usage, and safety preferences. We do not require a child's real name, phone number, address, school, or identity documents.

3. Voice, text, AI, TTS, pictures, and media

With microphone permission, VernaTalk processes voice clips that the user actively sends. Voice may be converted to text, sent to AI services to produce an age-aware answer, and converted to speech for playback. We may also process drawing prompts, generated pictures, cached images, short video attachments, content-safety labels, error logs, and diagnostics needed to provide and protect the service.

We aim to avoid long-term storage of raw voice audio unless needed for service delivery, security, troubleshooting, legal compliance, or a parent request. Conversation text, generated media, settings, quota records, subscription records, and safety logs are retained only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy or as required by law.

4. How we use data

We use data to provide voice Q&A, AI replies, speech playback, generated pictures, conversation history, account login, onboarding, subscriptions, quota enforcement, safety filtering, abuse prevention, diagnostics, customer support, legal compliance, and product reliability. We do not sell children's personal information. We do not use children's data for behavioral advertising or cross-app tracking.

5. Service providers

We may share necessary data with cloud hosting, database, object storage, speech recognition, text to speech, AI conversation, image generation, content safety, crash diagnostics, customer support, App Store, Google Play, legal, audit, and security service providers. Service providers are expected to process data only to provide services to VernaTalk and not to use children's personal information for advertising, sale, profiling, or unauthorized model training.

6. International processing

Data may be processed in countries or regions other than where the user lives. We use contractual, technical, and organizational safeguards where required by applicable data-protection, child-privacy, and cross-border transfer laws. If local mandatory law provides stronger protections, we will follow that law.

7. Parent rights and deletion

Parents and guardians may request access, correction, deletion, withdrawal of consent, account closure, or information about service-provider categories. In the app, open Parent Settings, then Account, then Delete Account. If the app cannot be accessed, email vernatalk@lexdawnglobal.com. We may verify that the requester is the account holder, parent, legal guardian, or authorized adult.

8. Safety reminders

Children should not share real names, addresses, school names, phone numbers, social accounts, precise locations, identity documents, payment information, health details, or family private information. VernaTalk is not a teacher, doctor, lawyer, therapist, emergency service, or safety professional.
